Commemoration of the Rescuers of Jews

The meeting “Historical Memory and the Present”, dedicated to commemorating 15 March, the Day of the Rescuers of Lithuanian Jews

 At 11 a.m. we meet to talk about courage, choices, and the historical repetitions. Descendants of the rescuers of Biržai Jews will participate. Presentation of a poster, poetry readings, and music. 1
At 12:00 p.m. Memorial-gratitude event at the Memorial Square (Žemaitės g.): planting of spring flowers. We invite you to join us – plant your own flowers (e.g., daffodils, snowdrops).
We sincerely look forward to seeing you. Returning to the past is always painful, but also necessary.
