At the closing event of the festival, the Baroque orchestra “Collegium Musicum Riga” and a soloist Ieva Sumeja will perform the concert that will bring you back to the 17^th and 18^th centuries. It was then when composers used deities of Greek myths and nymphs in their operas and songs. Speaking about the mythical characters of the nymphs but at the same time staying with the human world, the composers such as Francesco Cavalli, Antonio Vivaldi, Georg Friedrich Handel and Girolamo Frescobaldi involve listeners into music through the prism of mystical Baroque.
