The French ensemble offers you a journey into the world of medieval music, where the harmony of beauty and light rules. This music of the 13^th –15^th century is like a performance where actors-musicians talk about moral values. The ensemble’s performers get their inspiration by exploring the historical sources of French instrumental music, interpreting them in depth and presenting them to today’s listener. The programme will feature works for four voices by the composers Guillaume de Machaut, Gilles Binchois, Jean Solage, Jacob Senleches, monodies, diminutions from the manuscripts of Franco-Cyprijot and Chantilly.
