The museum offers following services:

Archives

The museum owns a large collection of archive materials, which include and are not limited to: old manuscripts, books, images, documents, letters. The museum provides research services, with a fee that is subject to agreement. Scholars, students, researchers or any other interested individuals may access the museum's resources with a consent from the museum.
The fees of the museum services
Preparing copies of the documents (photos of exhibits) and presenting on paper or in a CD, for one hour of work – 5 €,
Copying (black and white), for one page:
A4 page:
one side – 0,10 €, two sides – 0,15 €.
A3 page:
one side – 0,15 €, two sides – 0,25 €.
Printing the document (black and white), for one page:
A4 page:
one side – 0,15 €, two sides – 0,25 €.
A3 page:
one side – 0,25 €, two sides – 0,45 €.
 
Parish registers and church books are held at the museum archive. The museum welcomes requests to issue information from these books with a fee that is subject to agreement.

Venue hire

The museum, with its superb location and historic significance, provides a beautiful backdrop to your events. Six different premises are available for venue hire: conference hall at the Arsenal, two temporary exhibition halls, historic Radziwiłł hall and beer program cellar in the palace as well as the terrace when the weather conditions permit. The museum rents out its spaces only for short term (up to a month).
 
The prices are charged per hour and they vary according to the location:
beer program cellar - €30 (maximum capacity: 45 people)
small exhibition hall - €30 (maximum capacity: 40 people)
big exhibition hall - €30 (maximum capacity: 80 people)
Radziwiłł hall - €50 (maximum capacity: 40 people)
terrace - €50 (maximum capacity: 100 people)
conference hall - €50 (maximum capacity: up to 150 people)
 
Payment can be made in cash, bank transfer and card. There is no cancellation fee.
 
The following services are included in price: sound system and equipment, projectors and screens, cloakroom, cleaning and maintenance services. Catering is not provided by the museum and the clients are advised to arrange their own.
 
Times of the events taking place at the museum are to be agreed upon.

Your wedding at the museum

If you are looking for a special location to make the most important day of your life truly memorable, look no further. The museum, with its exquisite venues and unique service, offers to host your wedding ceremony.
 
Two package deals are available at the moment: basic and premium.

Basic package includes: getting married at the museum premises, music during the ceremony, cloakroom and cleaning services before and after the ceremony. The price is €60.

Premium package includes: getting married at the museum premises, music during the ceremony, cloakroom and cleaning services before and after the ceremony, venue decoration, toast, a special speech given by Radziwiłł duke and the marriage certificate for the new couple. The price is €120.
 
Times and venue need to be agreed upon with the museum. The museum does not provide catering services.
Maximum capacity is between 40 and 100 people depending on the venue.
The wedding ceremony can take place in the big temporary exhibition hall, Radziwiłł hall and on the terrace when the weather conditions permit.
Special offer
A special version of our program "From a grain to a song: Biržai tradition and hospitality" is available for weddings. You will enjoy traditional music, learn how to tie the nuometas - wimple which is an ancient form of female headdress worn by married women. You will feast on local beer, cheese and bread. The newlyweds' first dance will also take place during the program.

Photography and filming

Visitors are allowed to take photographs and make videos at the museum after they purchase a special sticker (€3) at the museum entrance. This sticker entitles them to take photographs/make videos of all the collections.
No flash, tripods or other additional equipment is permitted.
Photographs and videos are strictly to be used for noncommercial purposes.
 
Professional photography and filming at the museum is allowed after obtaining a special permit from the museum.
The price for this service is €30.
